Our house is located in a pleasant village of Zasip, situated 2 km from Bled in the close vicinity of mountains of the Triglav National Park. The surroundings abound in natural attractions for you to relax and replenish fresh forces. There is a large parking space in front of the house and a big garden with benches, table and a usable fireplace. Spring turning into summer gives one of the most beautiful of all seasons, the nature starts awakening and flourishes in all its beauty, offering us a pleasant relaxation for gathering new strengths.

Bled has a mild, healthy sub-Alpine climate, a long bathing season and natural resources for curing managerial, neurovegetative diseases and exhaustion.

In this time of year Bled and its surroundings offer a great number of events and numerous opportunities for spending unforgettable holidays.

Winter

Spending your winter holidays in Bled is something special. The moments when Bled and its surroundings are covered in snow, are unforgettable. In winter time there are a lot of local and world-known events taking place in Bled and its vicinity (world cup in biathlon, world cup in slalom and giant slalom, world cup in ski jumps, etc.), and there are a lot of opportunities for spending unforgettable holidays.

Its location makes Bled an ideal starting point for trips to visit the natural heritage, local sights and cultural monuments. Those guests that like an active holiday, can enjoy skiing in Bled and at 4 other ski resorts, visit the cross-country skiing and biathlon centre Pokljuka, go sledging, skating or do winter tracking through the middle range mountains of the Triglav National Park, climb up the icy waterfalls, bathe in 5 hotel pools, visit saunas, fitness centres, etc.

The skiing season in Bled and its vicinity starts on 15 December and lasts up to March. Bled has its own ski centre, especially suited for beginners. More demanding skiers can choose amongst five other ski resorts, which are reachable from Bled by ski buses. A special ski ticket enables skiing on all ski resorts with free transport, free skating and a visit to the Castle of Bled. The visitors that wish to improve their knowledge of skiing can choose amongst top quality skiing schools. It is also possible to hire skiing equipment.

In January on a cold winter, the Lake of Bled is covered by icy surface that contributes to even greater winter joy. A special adventure is to walk on the surface to the island or skate on the icy lake.
