Winter

Spending your free time in the winter in Bled is quite special also; when the nature covers the surroundings with a blanket of snow that is when a true winter wonderland appears. At that time Bled is the perfect starting-point for skiers; the beginners can gain their knowledge and upgrade it on the ski slope Straža above Bled. The more experienced skiers can enjoy skiing in the four ski centers situated close by and connected to Bled by a ski bus. A special ski pass will enable you to ski on all ski slopes, drive by the ski bus for free, a free entrance to the skating rink and free entrance to the Bled Castle. Lovers of cross-country skiing will find their paradise in cross-country skiing center in Pokljuka, where you can ski on perfectly arranged tracks that will lead you through the intact nature. All of you who are adrenalin thirsty can head over to the Triglav National Park, where you can climb up frozen waterfalls. In somewhat colder winters, when the surface of the lake is frozen enough, it is also possible to ice skate on the Lake Bled. All of you who like to pamper yourself will find numerous spas, saunas and wellness centers in Bled, where you can treat yourself with a relaxing aromatherapy or a massage.
